Five people are now in custody after police said they shot at officers.

Albuquerque police shut down the area of 9th Street and Iron Avenue Monday afternoon after suspects in a stolen car shot at officers. APD confirms no officers were injured during the incident.

Two people were arrested, but three others barricaded themselves into an apartment complex, causing the SWAT team to be deployed.

After four hours, APD took the three outstanding people into custody.
